My work provided the crucial link between my interest
in textiles, art and architecture.
I get
inspiration from everyday topics and developed a recognizable style which enhances
the theme and has its own specific charisma.
For
me it is a challenge to make textile pieces of art with surprising
effects.
I would like to lead the spectator to a visual
confrontation. Whether the result is completely abstract or reality made abstract,
the meaning will become clear by itself. It is my expressive way of a story in
image
Even my studio is in Dordrecht the oldest city of
Holland.
My works travel all over the world. They can be seen
in museums, galleries, textile events, private institutions and of course
everyone can buy them.
